Kampaventures GmbH ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our services or applications.
Information We Collect
Personal information (name, email) provided through contact forms; Usage data and analytics to improve our services; App usage data for functionality and optimization.

Hosting
This website runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH in its Helsinki (Finland) data centre. When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser identifier to deliver the page and fend off attacks.
Contact form
What you enter in the contact form (name, email address, message) is sent as an email through our own mail server on the same machine to our inbox. The website itself does not store your message. To protect against spam, your IP address is only used as a checksum (hash), considered for ten minutes for a rate limit, and not stored permanently.

Web analytics and cookies
We measure how this website is used with two services. We do not show a cookie banner; instead, this section explains what is collected and how you can prevent it.
Umami (self-hosted)
Umami runs on our own server (analytics.kampaspace.ch, Hetzner, Finland). Umami sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. It records the page visited, referring website, browser, operating system, device type and country. The data is not shared with third parties. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, Umami records nothing.
Google Analytics 4
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, together with Google LLC, USA. Google Analytics sets the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_…” (followed by the property ID) with a lifetime of up to two years to recognise returning visits. It records pages visited, time on page, referring website, device, browser and approximate location. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Event data is retained for at most 14 months.
YouTube video
The KampaSpace page embeds a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Limited). YouTube sets no cookies when the page loads. Only when you play the video does your browser connect to YouTube, and Google may set cookies and record usage data.
Other data stored in your browser
The cookie “NEXT_LOCALE” remembers your chosen language until the end of the browser session. Your choice between light and dark design is stored locally by your browser and not transmitted. Anyone who signs in to the editorial area (/admin) also receives a login cookie.
On the two self-assessments at /de/ki-richtlinie/check and /de/ki-fuer-ngos/check we load neither Umami nor Google Analytics. Your answers do not leave your browser there.
How to prevent measurement
- Refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Block Google Analytics with a content blocker or Google’s browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser (applies to Umami).
The website works fully without these services.
